Company Information

Nature of Services

Stoomx provides steam ironing, garment finishing, and related fabric care services, either directly or through authorized service partners. Service availability, pricing, turnaround time, and item eligibility may vary based on location, fabric type, condition of garments, operational capacity, and other commercial considerations.

Eligibility

Users must be 18 years of age or older and legally competent to enter into binding contracts. By submitting garments, you confirm lawful ownership or authorization to avail services for those items.

Order Placement & Acceptance

Orders placed through the Platform constitute a service request and not a binding contract. Stoomx reserves the right to accept, modify, or reject any order based on inspection results, serviceability, operational constraints, or regulatory reasons. Final pricing may be confirmed post-inspection and services shall proceed only upon customer confirmation where applicable.

Pricing, Taxes & Payments

All prices are denominated in Indian Rupees (INR). Applicable GST is charged as per prevailing laws. Payments are processed via secure third-party payment gateways including Razorpay. Stoomx does not store or process card details, UPI credentials, or banking information. Transaction success or failure is subject to bank and gateway systems, and Stoomx shall not be liable for delays or failures beyond its control.

Pickup, Delivery & Turnaround Time

Pickup and delivery timelines are indicative and best-effort. Delays caused by weather conditions, logistics disruptions, public holidays, strikes, system failures, or force majeure events shall not attract penalties, compensation, or refunds. Customers are responsible for ensuring availability during scheduled pickup and delivery windows.

Fabric Care, Damages & Limitation of Liability

Stoomx follows industry-standard garment handling and steam ironing practices. Natural wear and tear, color bleeding, fabric shrinkage, weakened fibers, or inherent manufacturing defects are not liabilities of Stoomx. Items without care labels are processed at the customer's risk. Stoomx shall not be responsible for pre-existing damage, ornaments, embellishments, or valuables left in garments.

Maximum liability, if conclusively established, shall be limited to five (5) times the service charge paid for the affected item, excluding consequential or indirect damages.

Cancellations & Refunds

Orders may be cancelled without charge prior to pickup. Cancellations after pickup may attract handling or processing fees. Approved refunds are processed to the original payment method within standard banking timelines. No refunds shall be issued for services already rendered.

User Obligations & Restrictions

Users agree not to submit hazardous, illegal, bio-contaminated, or restricted items; provide false information; misuse promotional offers; engage in abusive, fraudulent, or unlawful conduct; or initiate unwarranted chargebacks. Violations may result in service denial, account suspension, or legal action.

Intellectual Property

All content, trademarks, logos, service marks, workflows, and digital assets on the Platform are the exclusive property of Stoomx Private Limited. Unauthorized use is strictly prohibited.

Termination

Stoomx reserves the right to suspend or terminate user access without notice in case of breach of these Terms, suspected fraud, misuse of services, or compliance with legal obligations.

Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts located in Thane, Maharashtra shall have exclusive jurisdiction.
